  • Atoupkou, Cassava Bread, Garikponou is one of the main staples in Ivory Coast cuisine. It's made from Cassava, which is condense so it becomes like a Cassava Cake in texture. 
  • You usually eat it with your hands.
  • It can be served with almost anything as a side dish (fry fish, sauce, bake chicken or fish, fry plantains, sautéed legumes).

    Cooking Direction:
    Microwave or steam cooking until the Attoukou is soft, serve with either meat , chicken, fish & vegetable. In Cote D'Ivoire Attoukou is served with Kedjenou (Chicken Stew), Grilled or fried fish. ENJOY !
    The taste is mild, I enjoy mine with fry fish and a little bit of sautéed onions and tomatoes
